Also upgraded to 56.00.513B.
Conditions :
- Had the MZD unit exchanged (free of charge) due to serious connection problems (see the corresponding TSB)
- Cloned Nav Card card (ex-backup), 16 Gb, class 10.
- From the card, deleted Russia, Eastern block (Ukraine) usw. (I never go there).
- Came from 56.00.230. Nav Card now contains only 2.7 Gb instead of 4.7 Gb. (install language is Dutch, may differ from German)
- Used Siutch' AIO trick : menu-> display->push on the time setting, you enter the DTC menu immediately, enter "99" and your MZD searches for updates automatically, no need to reboot.
MZD Nav loads very fast! Only a couple of seconds. And, all "favorites" are still there (DAB, FM stations usw.), in this version these do not get deleted anymore. Bluetooth and WiFi "remember" previous settings. Super!
Remark : it seems that the upgrade process (first install "failsafe.up" and then "reinstall.up") takes more time than previously, approx. 1 hour now instead of 40 mins. Maybe the system now takes a backup of everything, including the favorites?
Reinstalled several of Siutsch' AIO tweaks; no problems.
Satellites detected : 8 (here in the vicinity of Brussels)
Needless to say that I am presently very pleased with the .513B upgrade in combination with mentioned AIO.
