BUT THERE IS A FIX!*
This fix will force iOS to use your cellular data and you will notice this once the small wifi icon on the top of your phone changed to cellular data (3G,4G, LTE etc) .
All you need to do is go to your iPhone wifi settings and click on your Zsun’s wifi SSID info:
You will see this:
The default settings should be DHCP with bellow addresses
All you need to do is set the connection to static and manually fill in the IP address and Subnet Mask info as above. Most IMPORTANT! is you must leave BLANK the Router info. The blank router settings tells iOS that the wifi connection is not online and thus iOS needs to use cellular data instead. Optionally you could fill out DNS with 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 (this uses Google DNS) and leave Search Domains blank for better internet surfing on cellular data.
You should end up with something like this:
That should solve it and the fix should also works with other wifi storage device having the same issue.
Please note other devices connected to it should use different static IP address to avoid IP address conflict.
